The Pomona-Pitzer (P-P) men’s water polo team lost 22-14 in a hard-fought battle to the UC Irvine Anteaters in the annual Gary Troyer Tournament on Oct. 5 at Haldeman Pool. The Anteaters took the lead early, but the Hens refused to give up.

CMS, P-P men’s water polo kick off the season at UCSD’s Triton Invitational

On Sept. 7 and 8, the Stags and Sagehens men’s water polo teams left the comfort of Claremont to face Division I foes at UC San Diego’s Triton Invitational. Claremont-Mudd-Scripps’ (CMS) 12-11 win against UC Merced allowed the newest players to showcase their abilities before the start of the regular season.

CMS women’s water polo can’t drown out USC but come away with 3-1 record at Claremont Convergence

The Athenas waged an underwater war against DI and DII foes at the Claremont Convergence Tournament on Friday, March 1 and Saturday, March 2. Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (CMS) women’s water polo fought valiantly and came away with three wins at Axelrood pool, but fell to the USC Trojans 18-4.
