On Saturday, March 7, the Pomona-Pitzer (P-P) and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (CMS) women’s lacrosse teams met in a game that saw the Sagehens clinch their 15th straight Sixth Street Rivalry win. The Sagehens rallied from a late third-quarter deficit to score four straight in the 10-8 victory. Shelby Stanton PO ’26 was named SCIAC Defensive Player of the Week for her efforts.

Four 5C athletes headline preseason lacrosse All-Americans
Four 5C Lacrosse players were recently named preseason All-Americans. Julia Ryan CM ‘27 of CMC was joined by River Buechner PO ‘26, Shelby Stanton PO ‘26 and Taylor Glanville PZ ‘26 of P-P. The four sat down for interviews to discuss the hard work and winners’’ mindsets that led to this honor.

The Athenas carried out a war of attrition against Redlands on their senior night, dominating through all four quarters and defeating the Bulldogs 24-1 on Saturday, April 13 at Pritzlaff field.
