RECAP: Athena lacrosse advances to SCIAC final with win over Chapman

The CMS women’s lacrosse team (15-2, 10-0 SCIAC) will face Pomona-Pitzer (13-5, 7-3 SCIAC) in the SCIAC championship final after defeating Chapman (7-9, 4-6 SCIAC) 18-6 in the semifinal Wednesday night.

Corie Hack CM ’19 scored six goals for the third straight game in the Athenas’ rout of the Panthers. Coming off the bench, Alex Futterman CM ’22 added four goals of her own, and goalie Anna Gillespie SC ’21 racked up nine saves.
