CMS women’s tennis and track and field athletes had particularly notable performances at last week’s national championships.
The Athenas are currently riding an 11-match win streak, and haven’t fallen since March 3 against No. 1 Emory, their only loss of the year.
The Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women’s tennis team is gearing up for a 2019 season that it hopes closely mirrors last year’s, which ended with the Athenas as the NCAA champions for the first time in program history. Last May, the Athenas fought their way to the title on their own home courts
