Sagehens’ baseball dominated the Stags 14-1 in the sixth street series opener on Friday, March 1 at Alumni field. Jake Hilton PO ’25 contained Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (CMS) with eight strikeouts while the bats got working in the bottom of each inning, getting the Hens on base early and often.

CMS stags basketball trample over the Sagehens’ hope of a postseason berth in a packed one shot game. The Stags earned a second half comeback by executing their game with great exigence and energy, and rode the momentum to a SCIAC league title, defeating California Lutheran in finals.
“We just studied the game plan and stayed aggressive and we just tried to attack them…we just tried to turn that up in the 2nd half and just continuing to take it play by play, we knew it was going to be a grind out game.” said Caelan Jones CGU ‘25.
