At 7 a.m. on Sept. 18, around 40 Pitzer students gathered for their weekly Yerba Mate Cold Plunge, a new tradition combining an icy creek plunge with breathwork and communal Yerba Mate drinking. The club, inspired by cold plunges on an Italian homestead, has quickly gained popularity, offering students an energizing start to their day.
