Is three times the charm? The Pomona-Pitzer men’s Cross Country team hopes so. They have won the last two NCAA DIII cross country championships and are hoping for a third. Fortunately for them, so far, so good. The Sagehens won the SCIAC on Saturday, Oct. 29th and also placed first at the NCAA West Region Championship.
The Hens did it again. Last Saturday, the Pomona-Pitzer Men’s Water Polo defeated Claremont-Mudd-Scripps for the second time that day. This win secured the Sagehens the title of the regular season SCIAC champions and will enter into the SCIAC tournament at the top seed.
Perfection. CMS volleyball plucked the Sagehens in three sets Saturday to wrap up their undefeated season as SCIAC Champions.
Three-peat! Sagehens women’s soccer smote the Athenas 3-0 Saturday in a historic Sixth Street matchup to claim their third consecutive SCIAC tournament championship.
No one is surprised and 3/5 of the 5Cs are happy. The No. 1 ranked CMS women’s volleyball team sent the Sagehens back to their nests with beaks dragging on Saturday when they defeated them three sets to none. This Sixth Street rivalry game ended in favor of the Athenas, who are continuing their unbeaten streak and have yet to lose a single set in conference play.
