Stags best the Sagehens 1-0 in the Sixth Street Rivalry

Tensions were high at Pritzlaff Field on Saturday, Oct. 5 when Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (CMS) faced off against Pomona Pitzer (P-P) men’s soccer. Midfielder Rafael Otero CM ’25 put the Stags on the board with a penalty kick, giving CMS the 1-0 Sixth Street win over the Sagehens.

Sagehens men’s soccer draws Cal Lutheran in fifth tie of the season

War calls echoed and feathers went flying on the Pomona-Pitzer soccer field field as the Sagehens marched into battle against the Cal Lutheran Kingsmen. After 90 minutes of bloodthirsty ferocity, the Sagehens reluctantly signed a peace treaty with the Kingsmen and walked away with their fifth tie of the season.

Stags stuff Sagehens men’s soccer in strenuous 2-1 Sixth Street victory

Despite the heavy rain last Saturday, the Pomona-Pitzer and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps men’s soccer teams went head to head in a chippy rivalry matchup. Things got heated early on and tempers flared after the Hens and Stags traded a pair of goals to begin the second half, but a persistent CMS side came away with a 2-1 victory.
