The Pomona-Pitzer (P-P) women’s soccer team kicked off the Sixth Street rivalry week on Sept. 23 with a 1-0 win over Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (CMS). For the Sagehens, winning this Sixth Street battle is rooted in playing within themselves and trusting their teammates to keep bringing the energy.

Sagehens edge out Banana Slugs to come out victorious in first round of NCAA tournament

On Saturday, Nov. 16, the Pomona-Pitzer (P-P) women’s soccer team won a thriller against UC Santa Cruz in the first round of the NCAA Division III tournament. Tied after 110 minutes of regular play, perfect penalties from Maxine Davey PO ’25, Ella Endo PO ’25, Taylor Marshall PZ ’26, Spencer Deutz PZ ’25 and Vivian Rojas Collins PO ’27 were enough for the Sagehens to prevail.
