The Athenas waged an underwater war against DI and DII foes at the Claremont Convergence Tournament on Friday, March 1 and Saturday, March 2. Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (CMS) women’s water polo fought valiantly and came away with three wins at Axelrood pool, but fell to the USC Trojans 18-4.

The D1 UClA Bruins unleashed the beast in a sudden death defeat of Pomona-Pitzer women’s lacrosse in the preseason opener. Nevertheless, the Sagehens saw great debuts from a number of freshmen and started the process of making on-field adjustments.
