Kick it with the Pears and Claremont FC – club soccer at the 5Cs

The two club soccer teams in Claremont are back for another year and they’re better than ever. The Claremont Pears, the 5C men’s soccer club, faced off against Cal State Channel Islands on Nov. 9, and Claremont FC, the 5C women’s soccer club, played Cal Poly Pomona later that day. This is the second game of the season for the Pears, and they defeated the Dolphins 10-0 in a dominant showing of the new roster.

On Saturday, Oct. 21st, despite their valiant effort to defend their turf (but actually grass freshly ruined by a men’s rugby game), Claremont fell to the Titans 1-0 in their first game of the season.
