On Saturday, March 7, the Pomona-Pitzer (P-P) and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (CMS) women’s lacrosse teams met in a game that saw the Sagehens clinch their 15th straight Sixth Street Rivalry win. The Sagehens rallied from a late third-quarter deficit to score four straight in the 10-8 victory. Shelby Stanton PO ’26 was named SCIAC Defensive Player of the Week for her efforts.

The Pomona-Pitzer (P-P) Sagehens flocked to Merritt field on Wednesday, March 5, for a rainy rivalry game against the Athenas, taking a 12 to 11 overtime victory thanks to Chloe Denhart PO ’27 and a persistent defensive performance.

Sagehens’ lacrosse has flown into the 2025 season, sitting first in SCIAC with a 3-0 record. Pomona-Pitzer (P-P) defeated UChicago — who travelled across the country to face the Hens — 14-10 on Sunday, Feb. 23.
