The No. 8 P-P women’s soccer team (17-1-1, 12-1 SCIAC) avenged its only loss of the season in the finals of the SCIAC tournament against Cal Lu with a dominant 3-0 win that secured the conference title. Chloe Hamer PZ ’21 contributed one goal, and SCIAC Athlete of the Year Bria VarnBuhler PO ’20 tallied two more during the match, her 17th and 18th of the season. By finishing atop the SCIAC, the Sagehens also secured a bid to the NCAA tournament, in which they’ll take on St. Scholastica this weekend in the first round in Iowa.
