
The P-P women’s water polo team (4-5) had a 3-0 week, beating Concordia (3-2) 8-7 and Cal State East Bay (6-4) 11-9 at the Redlands Invitational on Feb. 16. They then took down the University of Toronto (19-12) 15-3 at home Thursday.
The Sagehens came back from a late 7-6 deficit against Concordia, scoring twice in the last three minutes to earn the win. Against Toronto, Natalie Hill PO ’19 led the Sagehens with three goals but it was a team effort, as eight different players found the back of the net. Morgan Stockham PZ ’19 had 10 saves and put up a three-quarter shutout in goal for P-P, which entered the fourth quarter with a 11-0 lead.
