Taking Wine and Dine to the Next Level at the Ath: Laura Catena on the wine industry

Dr. Laura Catena, wine expert and medical doctor, spoke at CMC’s Athenaeum on Feb. 19. The Ath offered an exceptional selection of wines from Bodega Catena Zapata, Catena’s renowned family winery in Argentina. Catena discussed her transition from medicine to leading her family’s winery in Argentina, highlighting the significance of high-altitude vineyards, the impact of climate change on viticulture and the importance of worker well-being for economic success. The talk fell on the last day of CMC’s annual Family Weekend.
