On February 4, 1987, President Ronald Reagan declared the first National Women in Sports Day, making this year its 37th anniversary. However, here in Claremont, it seems like we celebrate all year round. For the first time ever, both the CMS and P-P Athletic directors are women, providing a shining example of the future for gender equality in athletics.
After several coaching stints and adminstrative roles with the USTA and ITA, Erica Perkins Jasper is excited to take over CMS athletics.
Perkins Jasper will be the first female AD in CMS history and previously served as the chief operating officer of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.
