On Sunday, Oct. 19, weeks of planning by Tamasha (the Bollywood Dance Team) and the Hindu Society culminated in a vibrant Diwali celebration. Taking place in Edmund’s Ballroom, over 200 attendees applied temporary mehendi tattoos, enjoyed a catered buffet, watched dance performances and more.

Sanskriti Season is here! Tamasha is pulling out all the stops for their end of year dance showcase. Tamasha, the 5C Bollywood dance club, has served as a haven for people of South Asian descent to keep in touch with their culture and a great avenue for people to engage with the art of music and dance.
7C student organizations host Diwali celebration
On Sunday, Nov. 12, members of the 7C community gathered around Beckett Hall at Claremont McKenna College (CMC) to celebrate Diwali. Organized by the 7C Hindu Society, Asian Pacific American Mentoring (APAM) and Asian Pacific American Student Association (APASA), the celebration welcomed international Indian students, Indian American students and the broader Claremont community.
