However, P-P came out on top with a thrilling overtime victory, defeating the Stags 10-9. Zach Whitfield PO ’28 scored the game-tying goal to send the Hens to overtime.

Pomona-Pitzer (P-P) women’s water polo dunked the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (CMS) Athenas to extend their streak to 73 straight wins in the SCIAC in a close 7-5 Sixth Street matchup. This impressive victory came on the back of a hat-trick by Brienz Lang PO ‘26, who also scored the opening goal. But Lang recognized the team effort that helped pull in the win.
