RECAP: Sagehen men’s water polo impresses against Ivy League competition, then sweeps SCIAC foes

The No. 19 P-P men’s water polo team (16-9, 7-2 SCIAC) traveled to Cambridge, Massachusetts over Fall Break for the Harvard Invitational, where the Sagehens fell 10-6 to Brown before nearly out-dueling Harvard in a wild 17-16 overtime loss. P-P then beat La Salle 10-6 and MIT 10-4 on the second day of the competition, with all three Sasaki brothers — Noah PO ’21, Benjamin PO ’22 and Sam PO ’22 — playing a part in the wins. Back in Los Angeles, the Hens beat Occidental 16-12 on Oct. 23, with three goals apiece from Noah Sasaki and Keegan Coleman PZ ’21, and buried Caltech 20-5 on Oct. 26. Dylan Elliott PO ’21 had four goals in the win.
