The Sagehen baseball team (10-3, 4-2 SCIAC) went 4-1 on the week, playing host to three non-conference opponents. After beating the Centenary Gentlemen (8-10-1) 7-4 Friday they beat Ithaca College (4-2) 1-0 Saturday before losing to them 10-4 Monday. P-P closed out the busy week by beating Bowdoin (0-4) 1-0 and 6-1 in a doubleheader Thursday.

The first win against Bowdoin was decided with one swing of the bat, as Jeremy Jess’ PZ ’20 solo home run in the bottom of the fourth inning proved to be the game’s only run. Tyler Yoshihara PO ’20 pitched the full game for the Sagehens, striking out six and allowing no runs in seven innings.
