RECAP: P-P women’s lacrosse falls to CMS, comes back with high-scoring win over Marymount

The P-P women’s lacrosse team (5-1, 4-1 SCIAC) picked up its first loss of the season in a 9-5 loss to Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (6-1, 5-0 SCIAC) Friday, but bounced back with a 22-13 win over Marymount (4-4) Wednesday. Both games were at home.

CMS got out to a 5-0 lead and held off the Sagehens the rest of the way. Zoe Puccia PZ ’22 led P-P with two goals in the loss.

P-P grabbed the momentum early in the win over Marymount, scoring nine straight goals in the first 20 minutes. Kate Immergluck PO ’21 and Maggie Sweeney PO ’22 led the Sagehen scoring barrage, scoring four and three goals, respectively.
