Miles Christensen HM ’22 finished second in a open-division 5,000-meter field with a time of 14:24.67 last weekend at the Occidental Distance Carnival, ranking him fourth in Stags history. Current track and field teammate Thomas D’Anieri CM ’20 holds the fastest time in CMS history at 14:21.04.
Stag javelin throwers Jordan Venglass CM ’21, Maxwell Knowles CM ’20 and Connor Schulz CM ’21 placed second through fourth in their event.
For the Athenas, Jacque Desmond SC ’20 won the pole vault by a wide margin, clearing 11 feet while no one else competing reached 10. Amanda Gallop SC ’20 took fourth in javelin and fifth in shot put, as well as ninth in discus. Classmates Bailey Mknelly SC ’21 and Kellie Okamura SC ’22 tied for second in high jump.
