
Lauren Richards CM ’22 threw seven innings of shutout ball, allowing four hits and striking out two, to seal the Athenas’ (7-2, 6-0 SCIAC) sweep of Sixth Street rival Pomona-Pitzer 2-0 in the second game of a doubleheader last Saturday. Richards also notched a save in game one, throwing a shutout 10th inning. She has yet to allow a run against a SCIAC opponent.
