After a disappointing finish to their 2022 season, the Pomona-Pitzer (P-P) men’s cross country team returned to their dominant form with a National Championship victory, the team’s third in the last four seaons. Kingsmen tried to rein, but the Sagehens had other ideas. The Pomona-Pitzer (P-P) men’s water polo team took Cal Lutheran for a watery ride on Oct 7, sinking the Kingsmen’s dreams of victory with a decisive 15-9 victory.
Sagehens men’s soccer draws Cal Lutheran in fifth tie of the season
War calls echoed and feathers went flying on the Pomona-Pitzer soccer field field as the Sagehens marched into battle against the Cal Lutheran Kingsmen. After 90 minutes of bloodthirsty ferocity, the Sagehens reluctantly signed a peace treaty with the Kingsmen and walked away with their fifth tie of the season.
CMS football weathers Sagehen storm to secure Sixth Street title
The Stags faced off against the Sagehens last weekend in a sixth street rivalry contest with major SCIAC championship implications. After jumping out to an early 14-0 lead, the Stags staved off a Hen’s comeback to secure the victory.
