Perfection. CMS volleyball plucked the Sagehens in three sets Saturday to wrap up their undefeated season as SCIAC Champions.
No one is surprised and 3/5 of the 5Cs are happy. The No. 1 ranked CMS women’s volleyball team sent the Sagehens back to their nests with beaks dragging on Saturday when they defeated them three sets to none. This Sixth Street rivalry game ended in favor of the Athenas, who are continuing their unbeaten streak and have yet to lose a single set in conference play.
The undefeated Athena’s women’s volleyball proved their streak was no Occident when they defended their home court with a 3-0 victory over Occidental last Friday.
After falling behind 2-0 early in the match, the Athenas staged a dramatic comeback and earned a grueling five-set victory against Wartburg to advance to the Sweet 16.
