Ryan Long PO ’21 recently pitched in his second World Baseball Classic (WBC) for Great Britain, and completed his fourth full season in Minor League Baseball last fall. Traveling just across the pond for the chance to represent your country in the sport you love isn’t too bad innit? Ryan Long PO ’21 would say so. After competing on the Sagehen’s baseball team for four years, Long was drafted first by the Baltimore Orioles in 2021 and now was selected to represent Great Britain in the World Baseball Classic that took place this past week.
