The 33rd Annual Ussachevsky Memorial Festival of Electroacoustic Music took place at Pomona College from Jan. 31 to Feb. 1. Between performances at the Skyspace, a concert at Thatcher Music Hall and a lecture from featured composer Elainie Lillios, members of the Claremont community experienced the unconventional music and undeniable talent on display throughout the weekend.

On February third and fourth, Pomona hosted the 31st Annual Ussachevsky Memorial Festival of Electroacoustic Music. Incorporating lavish electronic soundscapes as well as stripped-back isolated instrumental lines, the featured pieces showcased the role of electronic software in inventive ways.
