Across the 5Cs, students celebrated the Mid-Autumn Festival by gathering for moon-viewing parties, making shiratama dango and mooncakes, playing mahjong, and drinking tea. This year, the celebrations carried another meaning. With Oldenborg’s closure scattering some of the cultural communities that once formed there, students are finding new ways to recreate spaces where people can gather naturally and feel at home.
