Honnold Mudd Library staff voting on unionization

Staff at the 7Cs’ Honnold Mudd Library are deciding by secret ballot whether to form a union after at least 30 percent of approximately 40 eligible employees expressed interest. The California Federation of Teachers filed a petition with the National Labor Relations Board filed a petition to represent the staff, according to a Feb. 9 statement from The Claremont Colleges Services (TCCS).

Claremont Colleges cut Honnold Mudd budget by more than 20 percent

In a series of COVID-19 budget cuts, the Claremont Colleges have reduced Honnold Mudd Library’s budget by 23.5 percent, according to an email sent to faculty and obtained by TSL.
