RECAP: Women’s water polo drops 3 in Claremont Convergence but remains undefeated in conference play

P-P women’s water polo (6-8, 2-0 SCIAC) had a busy weekend at the Claremont Convergence Tournament, playing two games each on Saturday and Sunday. After losing 12-10 to Azusa Pacific (12-9) and 18-3 to No. 8 UC Irvine (12-5) on day one, the Sagehens came back on Sunday to beat Redlands (7-9, 1-1 SCIAC) 12-7 before falling to No. 16 UC Santa Barbara (15-5) 12-9.

Natalie Hill PO ’19 led the Sagehens’ scoring attack, with two goals against Azusa Pacific and hat tricks in both of Sunday’s games.
