CMS (19-6, 13-3 SCIAC) closed out regular season play with two commanding wins over SCIAC opponents Cal Lutheran and Chapman. The Stags took down the Kingsmen 84-46 and the Panthers 63-45.
Nicolas Segura Dobjanschi CM ’19 led all scorers across the two games with 36 points; he played 51 minutes and shot 49.8 percent from the field. Seniors Segura Dobjanschi, Mark Sui CM ’19 and Ryan Kusch HM ’19 were honored prior to the second game.
The Stags face Occidental (21-4, 12-4 SCIAC) Friday in the SCIAC semifinals, and if they win, will likely face top-seeded P-P (23-2, 15-1 SCIAC) in the finals Saturday.
