The P-P women’s basketball season came to an end as the Sagehens (22-6, 14-2 SCIAC) lost 72-46 to No. 13 Wisconsin-Oshkosh (26-3) in the first round of the NCAA tournament March 1. After falling behind 15-10 midway through the first quarter, P-P put together a 9-0 run to take the lead. Later, trailing by nine, P-P made a run late in the third to cut the deficit to four at 40-36, but a 10-1 stretch by Oshkosh put the game away.

The Sagehens were out-assisted 22-4, and shot just 29.5 percent from the field, compared to 44.3 percent for the Titans.
