
The P-P track and field team had a successful first regular season meet of the year, as both the men’s and women’s teams won their dual meets. The men’s team defeated Whittier 112-51 and Caltech 125-20, while the women’s team beat Whittier 92.5-64.5 and Caltech 103-40.
Daniel Tamkin PO ’21 finished second in the 100-meter dash in 11.32, and third in the 200-meter dash in 23.09. Led by Dante Paszkeicz PO ’22, the Sagehens took spots one through four in the 3000-meter steeplechase.
The women’s team took first place in six events. P-P swept the podium in the 100-meter hurdles, with Phoebe Salowey PO ’22 finishing in first in 15.5, Vicky-Marie Addo-Ashong PO ’20 coming in second and Sophie Richards PO ’20 coming in third.
