The Athenas won the opening SCIAC tournament of the regular season. Despite poor conditions that suspended the first day of competition, the Athenas held a 13-shot lead over Pomona-Pitzer going into day two. With four individual finishers in the top 10, CMS pulled away from P-P, but finished just seven strokes ahead of Redlands.
Mira Yoo CM ’21 was the highest Athena finisher with a two-day score of 155. Emily Attiyeh CM ’21 and Kelly Ransom CM ’19 tied with two others for fourth place with a score of 157. Amy Xue CM ’22 tied for seventh with a score of 158 and Tiffany Hu CM ’22 was 13th with a score of 161.
