It’s been an inauspicious start to conference play for the Sagehen women’s volleyball team, (6-7, 0-3 SCIAC) whose string of losses this week has them still searching for their first SCIAC win. Both Friday’s match against Cal Lu and Saturday’s at Whittier ended in hard-fought 3-2 defeats. Tuesday’s round against Chapman was no more favorable, ending 3-1 after a difficult first set. Isabel Kelly PO ’20 and Vicky-Marie Addo-Ashong PO ’20 led the Sagehens Tuesday with 14 kills each.
