ASPC Senate is winding down in the last few weeks of the semester but still had some business to address on Monday, Apr. 18. It looks like a Senior Sale might be taking place, at which students would bring all unwanted items to a designated area to be sold to other students. More details will be released soon. As far as bigger agenda items, the Alcohol and Marijuana policy changes have been finalized, so that alcohol use will no longer be charged with a fine and the marijuana ramifications have been lessened. As far as the elections cycle for ASPC positions, several proposals have been made to increase the inclusivity and equality of the process, including allowing candidates to print posters and regulating the handmade posters. ASPC would also like to find the appropriate and best way to address student mental health concerns in light of recent articles.
