The Oct. 13 meeting of the Pitzer Student Senate started with committee reports, including reports by the Academic Standards Committee, which discussed an approved late drop petition, and the Faculty Executive Committee, which discussed sabbatical approvals. First-Year Representative Josue Pasillas PZ ’17 reported that he had made a Facebook page to stay in touch with his classmates.

Among other reports from the Executive Board, Treasurer Bailey Masullo PZ ’15 announced that the location of the Senate’s office hours has changed “due to flooding” and Gochi spoke about assigning senators to the Sexual Assault Policy Task Force.

Senators also discussed a resolution, the Housing Equality Resolution, regarding on-campus housing for students in Pitzer’s New Resources Student Program, which allows students of nontraditional college ages to attend Pitzer.
