It is not often that inclusivity and trash-talking can be uttered in the same sentence, but that was the exact dynamic of At The Buzzer on Oct. 24 at Pitzer College. An annual, free-entry 4v4 basketball tournament for students across the 5Cs, the event’s success hinged on cooperation between different organizations across campus. Pitzer’s Athletics Commissioner, Charlie Morris PZ ’25, was able to run the games smoothly thanks to the many hands on deck.

5C Spikeball Club makes its debut to foster community through the sport of roundnet
Every Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m., you can find a group of Pomona juniors setting up a spikeball net at Walker Beach to bring together new and seasoned players for their 5C Spikeball Club meeting. Founded by Gavin Doig PO ’27, Fox Kloske PO ’27, Matthew Lewis PO ’27 and Jalen DeLoney PO ’27, the four are launching a mission to bring a structured club surrounded by a passion for spikeball and a warm community.
