Pitzer College’s Kohoutek Music & Arts Festival, an annual student-led tradition, returned on Saturday, March 28, from 3 p.m. until 1 a.m. the next day on Brant Field & Clock Tower Lawn.
The four student bands who took the stage were The G Strings, Coast, Stuck in a Jam and Noah’s Ark. Other non-student artists were Peter Harper, HAILE, Lottie’s Asha Imuno, Automatic and Ed Axel.

The Hive’s Soundbox team showcases student talent in their Spring Tiny Patio Concert
On March 6, the Hive opened its doors for another Tiny Patio Concert, featuring four acts composed of both student performers and bands. Hosted by the Hive’s Soundbox, a professional recording space, the show sought to highlight student talent.
Benton Museum’s new ‘Interference Patterns’ exhibit reimagines photography
On Feb. 28, the Benton Museum of Art at Pomona College welcomed 7C students, faculty and community members for the opening reception of the new exhibits “The Meditative Object” and “John Sparagana: Interference Patterns.” Alongside the art viewing, attendees listened attentively to American composer Ken Vandermark, who performed saxophone and clarinet compositions.

‘Motwrecked:’ 5C students celebrate another semester of the Motley
On Jan. 30, the Motley opened its doors for its semesterly opening party. Dubbed “Motwrecked,” the party took on a shipwrecked theme, encouraging guests to dress as sailors, fishermen and mermaids. The Motley’s opening party is a coveted 5C tradition, beloved and attended by students from all campuses. 5C students gathered to celebrate the opening and eagerly await another semester of studying and relaxing at the Motley.
