That gap became Graft, the multilingual review of the Claremont Colleges, a student-run literary journal that publishes creative and scholarly work across languages and cultures.

“Tender Shield,” a new exhibition by Davina Semo, opened on Sept. 19 at the Benton Museum of Art, featuring artistic bells on the museum’s back patio and large bronze reliefs inside its Art Hall. It will be on view through June 27, 2027.

“TforX: A Chronoscape” brings student-made slit-screen photography to Harvey Mudd Gallery
This fall, the Sprague Gallery at Harvey Mudd College presented “TforX: A Chronoscape,” the first solo exhibition of the artist duo Nolan Windham CM ‘25 and Jasper Eliot, a London-based artist and writer. The exhibition featured slit-scan photography, an experimental technique that required Windham and Eliot to build a custom software system to scan footage from different angles, slicing it into strips of time and space.
Earthtones brings harmony and legacy to the Frary steps
A quiet breeze sang through the Frary archways at Pomona College last Thursday night, as students settled into their makeshift seats just in time for the performance to begin. Moments later, one of the 5Cs’ most vibrant acappella groups took to the stage. Earthtones, the 13-member all-Black acappella group, stood
