On Feb. 10, Pomona College Events Committee hosted “College Comedy Night,” featuring Marcello Hernandez. First news of the event spread after the Associated Students of Pomona College sent out an email on Jan. 26. Pomona students were given early access and free tickets, after which the rest of the 5C community was given the opportunity to purchase seats. Flyers were stapled to buildings, and Instagram stories were shared and reposted. The hype was real.

Benton’s ‘Salon Series’ offers a new perspective on art education and the curatorial process
Pomona College’s Benton Museum hosted a salon titled “Cut for Time: Curating and Other Editorial Processes,” which was designed for Benton’s monthly “Salon Series.” The series, which was hosted by Solomon Salim Moore, featured artwork that had never been included in the exhibition.
