Lucky number 13? Like something out of a Greek epic, the Athenas “Apollo-gized” to no one and sprinted across the finish line last weekend, “Zeus-staining” their winning streak. On Saturday, Oct. 28, the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (CMS) women’s cross-country team earned their thirteenth straight SCIAC championship title, and finished with six runners in the top 10.

All-American runner Natalie Bitetti CM ’24 describes cross country as “a very simple sport.” Well, that might be easy for her to say.
