Stags stomp Beavers in dominant 29-point win with playoff hopes looming large

On Saturday, Feb. 1 the Stags claimed a commanding 96-67 victory over the Caltech Beavers, moving to 8-2 in SCIAC play this season. On the heels of their historic Sweet 16 run last year in the NCAA tournament, there are high expectations for Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (CMS) men’s basketball.

The Stags faced off against Division II Biola University in a season-opening exhibition game on Friday, Oct. 25 at Roberts Pavilion. This scrimmage marks the first game for the Stags on the heels of their record-breaking 2023-24 season.
