Stag football decimated by conference-leading Chapman

The CMS football team (4-5, 2-4 SCIAC) continued its disheartening season with a 41-17 loss on Nov. 9 to the SCIAC’s top team, Chapman. Quarterback Zach Fogel CM ’22 turned in a dismal performance, tossing three interceptions on just nine throws, and the defense allowed the Panthers to run for 237 yards against CMS. The only offense the Stags mustered aside from a field goal came on touchdown runs by Garrett Cheadle HM ’20 and John Willard CM ’23, who scored in the fourth quarter when the game was already well out of reach.
