This Season’s Stats: Finicane was the undisputed top player on this year’s Sagehen squad. Having won last year’s singles national championship, she defended her title by blowing out nearly every opponent she faced. Her best wins this season have come against the no. 13 and no. 17-ranked players in the country, winning these matches 6-2, 6-2 and 6-1, 6-1 respectively. Finicane, teaming up with Olivia Muesse PO ’10 to form “Shioyo,” also went undefeated in doubles throughout the season.
