The Athenas (5-2, 4-0 SCIAC) swept their second straight SCIAC doubleheader, taking down Cal Lutheran 9-6 and 10-0 Saturday.
Chloe Amarilla CM ’19 tossed 6.1 shutout innings in the first game, allowing just two hits, striking out four and walking five. Lauren Richards CM ’22 threw a shutout in the five-inning game two. Designated player Megan Perron CM ’21 notched four RBIs in game one while infielder Molly Spaniac CM ’21 led the team with three in the second game.
