Recap: Sagehen softball remains undefeated, four players home run in wins over Whittier

The Sagehen softball team (4-0, 2-0 SCIAC) continued its hot start, beating Whittier (0-3, 0-2 SCIAC) 7-1 and 2-0 Feb. 16. Hannah Brajkovich PO ’22 led the team in the first game, going 2-3 with two RBIs, two runs and a home run. Izzy Deatherage PO ’20 and Liz Rodarte PZ ’19 also hit solo home runs for the Sagehens, who pulled away with a four-run sixth inning.

Alondra Reynoso PZ ’20 pitched a complete game shutout in the second game, and Baleigh McCuskey PO ’19 hit a solo home run in the seventh to put the game away.
