The Pomona-Pitzer baseball team (14-9, 4-8 SCIAC) struggled in a three-game set against Redlands (12-15-1, 6-6 SCIAC) last week. After losing 11-9 to the Bulldogs at home Friday, the Sagehens dropped both ends of a doubleheader Saturday, 8-5 and 4-3.

P-P built a 7-2 lead through four innings in the first game, but gave up seven runs over the next two innings to surrender the lead for good. In the third game, the Sagehens came back from a 3-1 deficit by putting up two runs in the top of the ninth to tie the game, but lost in the bottom of the inning.
