The CMS women’s soccer team (10-3-3, 6-3-2 SCIAC) fell 1-0 to a dominant Sagehen squad Oct. 19, but bounced back with a 1-0 win over Cal Lutheran and a 7-0 drubbing of Caltech. The win over the Beavers on Oct. 26 was Senior Day for the Athenas, but it was youngster Mia Duranczyk CM ’23 who stole the show with a hat trick. Tied for third in the SCIAC with one game remaining in the regular season, CMS is in a good position to make the playoffs after narrowly missing out last year.
