Listen: How a Campus Jewish Group Built Community Around Shared Discomfort

In the Spring of 2017, a group of Jewish students gathered at the Grove House at Pitzer College to organize the first Shabat for Nishmat, the Claremont College’s newest Jewish student organization. Paul Kiefer, the Student Life’s audio editor, spoke to Nishmat founder August Kahn and board member Gabriel Gluskin-Braun about their visions for Nishmat and its place in the spiritual landscape of the Claremont Colleges.
